	What does it take to be State Bethel Beau? Step 1. Well the first thing you have to do is get selected as a Bethel Beau.... This requires you to hang out with the girls after their meetings... (don't forget your chaperone) Step 2. Help them with their bags and luggage... (Builds strong muscles) Step 3. Dance with ALL the girls... (Let them know that they're special) Step 4. Attend all social functions and dress appropriately... If the girls are wearing a dress, you need to wear a jacket, tie, and dress shoes. (Don't embarrass your Bethel) Step 5. Be a Best Friend to all of the girls... (Girls need a young man they can count on) Step 6. Be courteous and helpful at all times... (This'll earn BIG brownie points with the adults) Step 7. Be prompt or call if you can't attend a function. (Don't make the girls worry about you needlessly) Step 8. Be the perfect gentleman, offer your arm and open doors. (Girls just love this stuff!) Step 9. Being a Bethel Beau is a piece of cake! How hard can it be to be State Bethel Beau? Step 10. Well you're going to have to win the COMPETITION and did we mention there's a little test, too? Well of course there's a test! You didn't think you could win STATE BETHEL BEAU on popularity alone, did you? If you want to be most popular guy in Oklahoma Job's Daughters, you're going to have to score high on the test, so study up! So what's in the competition, you're wondering? Well, there's four parts: 1) Set up a Bethel (The girls will teach you how) 2) An interview with the Judges (This is where your brownie points might help) 3) Written test based on Job's Daughters (Ask the girls or a council member for help when studying) 4) Vote of the girls (This is where dancing with all of the girls might help, too) Don't let the Competition scare you off. Being State Bethel Beau could be the most rewarding experience of your teenage years. And think of all the FUN you'll have with the girls!
