She's such a doll...!
Upon careful examination of Keren Happuch's travel diary, we have found some interesting facts:
Which Bethel was the first to have the
new Keren Happuch Traveling Doll?
Bethel 6, June 7, 1986
Who gave her to them?
Miss. Lorrie Belcher, MOJD 1985-1986, PHQ #4
Which Bethel has Keren Happuch visited
the most often?
Bethel 6 has had her 7 times!
What's the longest visit that Keren
Happuch has had at one bethel?
Bethel 6, from Sept. 10, 1995 to May 1, 1998 (that's 964 days!)
What's the shortest visit that Keren
Happuch has had at one bethel?
Technically the answer is Bethels 1 and 4 with 2 days each for actually getting her home to their bethel. But at
the 2001 Grand Session, the Grand Bethel presented Keren Happuch to Bethel 1 for having the most daughters at Grand
Session, but Bethel 1 graciously gave her to Bethel 2 for recently initiating 5 new girls, therefore Bethel 1 had
possession of her briefly for 1 day and never actually got her home to their Bethel.
Because Bethels 1 and 6 has had the Keren Happuch Traveling Doll almost exclusively since 1998 and the fact that
we have so many new daughters and council members, a review of the rules would help everyone get up to speed on
how to get Keren Happuch to visit your Bethel.
Rules of the Game as stated in the introduction of the diary and as amended at Grand
Session, 1998.
You must have at least six (6) girls at a regular Bethel meeting, Official Visit, Friendship meeting or Installation
in order to take the doll home with you. In case of a tie, include the number of council members present.
After obtaining the Traveling Doll, the receiving Bethel shall notify each of the other Oklahoma Bethels that they
have the doll.
Notify the Grand Secretary and Chairman of the Promotion Committee where you went to get the doll and how many
Bethel members and Council members went.
Have all members present of the receiving bethel sign her diary.
The Keren Happuch Traveling Doll comes with a carrying case and traveling diary.
So, where is she now?
